Mary Grace Kiser was born July 18, 1931 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late George Harrison and Ophie Sweat Blakely.
She was united in marriage to Alford Kiser on November 29, 1947. Mr. Kiser preceded her in death on June 17, 2005. They were married for 57 years.
Mrs. Kiser worked at Brown Shoe Factory and retired from McNairy County Board of Education. She worked at Selmer Junior High School and McNairy Central High School in the cafeteria. She loved to cook not only for the children of McNairy County but for her family as well. She enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals play ball. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren.
Mrs. Kiser departed this life on March 26, 2017 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 8 Months, 8 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Melissa Kiser of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, Phillip Kiser and wife Sondra of Bethel Springs, TN; four grandsons, Brian Kiddy, James Kiser, Clint Kiser, and Luke Kiser; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Kiser was preceded in death by two sisters, Johnnie Pearl Ferguson, Willie Jo Dancer; two brothers, Doug and Warren Blakely.
