Ms. Mary Grace Bray Rogers, 88, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 while at Shearer-Richardson Memorial Nursing Home following an extended illness. She was born August 12, 1930 in Houston, MS to William Earnest Bray and Mae porter Bray. Ms. Mary was employed in the furniture industry for many years retiring from Futorian Furniture Manufacturing. She loved to read and watch soap operas until she lost her eye sight. She was a member of Okolona First Baptist Church.
A celebration of life service will be Tuesday at 2 PM in the Okolona Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Mary’s grandson-in-law, Bryan Hughes officiating. Private burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Pontotoc County. Visitation will be from 12 noon to service time.
Survivors include her two daughters, Ollie Jo Jaggers (Tommy) and Gracie Mae Davis; three grandchildren, Tina Hughes (Bryan), Larry Jaggers (Crystal), and Drew Furrs; 13 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Johnny Mack Furr; brother, Jim Mack Bray; grandsons, Luther Jaggers and Brandon Rogers; granddaughters, Dana Jackson and Dena Hickman, and one great granddaughter, Breanna Lea Jackson.
Pallbearers will be Zack Jaggers, Larry Jaggers, Joshua Hughes, Ryan Hughes, Mac Simmons, and Tony Hill.
