Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (315 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, AL 35811) with Pastor Maurice Wright II officiating and Reverend Dr. Patrick Clayborn as the eulogist. Entombment will be in the Valhalla Memory Gardens. Mrs. Rankin will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral service time.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Ivy Beyond the Wall Ceremony will be 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2023 at the Royal Chapel of Memories.
Public viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2023 and 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., March 7, 2023 at the Royal Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to The Mary G. Rankin Scholarship Fund through the Village of Promise.
