Mary Frances Taylor, age 77 of Winchester, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at STRHS-Winchester. She was born on October 5, 1942 in Franklin County to the late Clarence Earl Luttrell and Jessie Ellen Stovall Luttrell. Mary was a member of Marble Plains Baptist Church and had worked at Nissan from 1983-1999. She loved being at home taking care of her family and enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and working crossword puzzles. Her favorite movie was Fried Green Tomatoes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, J. C. Luttrell and John Luttrell and a sister, Mildred Kelley. Mary is survived by her husband of 58 years, George Taylor of Winchester; son, Frankie (Sydonna) Taylor of Winchester; brothers, Frank (Jean) Luttrell of Winchester and Clyde (Faye) Luttrell of Huntsville; grandchildren, Jon (Tiffany) Taylor and Paige Taylor, both of Winchester; great-grandchild, Roczen Dai Taylor; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Tuesday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 pm Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Jack Hice officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens. Pat Martin, Tony Hasty, Chris Davidson, Greg Solomon, Glen Solomon and Daren Harrison will be serving as pallbearers.
