Mary Eula Hughes, 93, of Elkmont, AL passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at her residence.
Mrs. Hughes was born December 4, 1929 in Marshall County, AL to Noah Honea and Clara Ikard Honea.
She is preceded into death by her parents and two brothers, Carl and Wiley Honea. Mrs. Hughes was a member of Lindsay Lane Baptist North. She was employed as a data transcriber at Redstone Arsenal.
Survivors include her loving husband of 70 years Mr. Kenneth Hughes; one daughter Donna Clark and husband Keith, two grandchildren Dustin Clark and wife Savannah; Lauren Baker and husband Joseph; four great grandchildren Judah Baker, Elijah Baker, Mallie Clark and Samuel Clark.
Visitation will be Friday April 7, 2023 at McConnell Funeral Home from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be Friday April 7, 2023 at 2 p.m. McConnell Memorial Chapel.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Clark, Joseph Baker, James Hogan, Adam Graves, Perry Crawford, and Greg Robinson.
