Funeral Services for Mary Ethel Gill Baker Henderson, age 69, of Lineville will take place on Monday October 7, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Pastor Billy Todd officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Henderson was a lifelong resident of Clay County, AL and loved being a homemaker. She enjoyed taking long trips and being together with her family. She loved watching TV and reading in her spare time. She was an avid Auburn fan.
She is survived by her three daughters, Ethel Ann Baker of Wedowee, Teresa Baker Mateo of Lineville and Nona Baker of Lineville; one son J W Baker Jr. (Stephanie) of Wedowee; two sisters Katherine McCollum (Bill) of Lineville and Cecelia Davis of Lineville; one brother Billy Wayne Gill (Loretta) of Ashland; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Hoyt Gill and Annie Bell Turley; sisters, Sara Mae Stanford, Marjie Campbell, Dorothy Baker and Geraldine Nimon, and one brother Gene Gill.
Active Pallbearers will be Richard Lightsey, Lee Wiliams, Dustin McClenton, Kevin East, Austin East, and James Hickman.
Her visitation will take place on Monday October 7, 2024 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville from 1:30 PM until service time at 3:00 PM.
