Mrs. Mary Enochs Miltenberger, age 93, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023, in Lexington. She was born June 6, 1929 in Hardin County to the late Curtis and Clura Harville O’Neal. She moved to Lexington in 1954, she and her husband, Ben Enochs, became the owners of Lexington Broadcasting. She was a member of Broad Street Church of Christ, gardening, reading, cooking, traveling, and playing bridge were her favorite pastimes. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Mr. Ben Enochs and Mr. Kurt Miltenberger and two brothers, L. C. and Johnny O’Neal. Survivors include her son, Mr. Don Enochs (Suzanne); two daughters, Wanda Rumley (Steve) and Rosemary Dennison (Mark); her sister, Rachel O’Neal Fondren; four grandchildren, Andy Rumley, Patrick Rumley, Will Enochs (Alicia), and Parker Dennison; and three great grandchildren, Camden, Owen, and Griffin Enochs.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM, Sunday, May 21, 2023 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Henderson County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, 4 – 7 PM and on Sunday, 1:30 – 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to Everett Horn Public Library.
