Mary Ellen Webster, 71, of Athens, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021, at her home.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021, at McConnell Funeral Home. A chapel service will begin at 3 p.m., with Bro. Leeland Sandlin officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Elkmont.
Mrs. Webster is survived by her son, Glenn Reed; daughter, Ellen Simard (Dominic); brothers, Sherman Geary, John Geary and R.C. Geary; sisters, Helen Howell, Angela Dennis, Rebecca Moon and Joyce Young; grandchildren, Austin Reed, Taylor Reed (Nathaniel Dunbar), Emily Reed, Brittnee Higginbotham (Bobby), Bethnee Kelly (Viva Chunduru) and Brooklyn Kelly; and step-granddaughter, Amber Lovell (Stephen).
She is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Webster, Jr.; parents, Roscoe and Lois Geary; brothers, Richard Clark and Steven Geary; and sisters, Laura Brauner and Agnus Clark.
