Mary Ellen Thomas, 81 of Prattville, entered into rest on Friday, January 24, 2020 at her home.
Ms. Thomas was born on April 5, 1938. She was born in Montgomery, Alabama and had a Master’s Degree in education. She worked as an auditor for the State of Alabama Department of Education before her retirement. Ms. Thomas enjoyed quilting and cross stitch.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at 2pm at Fairview Cemetery in Double Springs. Brother J.D. Snoddy will officiate.
Ms. Thomas is survived by her brother, Clarence Thomas, Jr.; sister, Margaret Plyler; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Blanche Thomas; sister, Jane Morgan; and nephew, David Holley.
