Mary Elizabeth Smith, age 78, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, house parent for the Christian Childrens Home, and a member of Salem Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Comer and Velma Lee Bailey Martin; and one brother, Robert Thornsberry.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, April 18, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 19, 2014, with Keith Barnett officiating. Interment will follow at Restview Cemetery in Loretto, TN.
