Ms. Mary Elizabeth Oliver, 86, passed away on November 1, 2014. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 11-1pm with service beginning at 1pm in the chapel. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Steve Pochop will be officiating. She was a member of Abundant Grace Church and she was a daycare provider.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Anna Oliver; brothers, Sammy and Riley Oliver; and sisters, Jessie Denton and Alice Choat.
She is survived by her son, James Ray Baker; daughters, Linda Fields (John), Margaret Landers (Jimmy), and Rose Baker (James Roy); brother, Ed Oliver (Marie); 7 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Fields, Dewayne Landers, Jonathan Fields, Steve Young, and Seth Anderson and Billy Grissom.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Little, Dr. Ridgeway, Dr. George Evans, and the staff at Cottage of the Shoals.
