Mary Elizabeth McCarver, age 61 of Winchester, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 at her residence. A native of Franklin County, she was born on September 22, 1958 to the late Thurman and Ruth Quinn. She was a dedicated homemaker and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Quinn. She is survived by her husband of forty-two years, Robert Dale McCarver of Winchester; sons, Michael Dale (Tiffany) McCarver of Tullahoma, and Kevin Dwayne (Tounya) McCarver of Winchester; sisters, JoAnn (Bill) Bilbow Tallahasse, Florida, and Sandy Wells of Winchester; brothers, Jerry (Christy) Quinn of Winchester, and Larry Quinn of Decherd; grandchildren, Tina Cosme of Winchester, and Shante Cosme of Chicago; great-grandchildren, Saiya Wright of Winchester, and Avril Cosme of Winchester; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, January 27, 2020 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby McBee officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
