Mary Elizabeth Lindley, 76, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Shoals Hospital.
Mrs. Lindley was a native of Russellville and a member of Mountain Home Baptist Church, Tuscumbia, Alabama. She was retired as a seamstress with the Lee Manufacturing Company.
The graveside service will be Sunday, November 17, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., at Vandiver Hollow Cemetery, Tuscumbia, with Kenneth Bonds officiating. Burial will follow the service.
Survivors include children, David O. Scott, Russellville, and Donna S. Portier, Hammond, Louisiana; sisters, Wonel (Gene Howard) Whitlock and Barbara (Bobby) Taylor, both of Littleville; grandchildren, Shiri Nicole Portier, Jeffrey K. (Brittany) Scott, Jesse D. Scott, Emily Scott, Anna Scott; great-grandchildren, Taylor Mobley, Savannah King, Luke and Landon Ellis, and Jayson Walker; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Lindley; and parents, George D. and Frona Hooper Fisher.
