Mary was extremely creative. She could make use of basic items and turn them into something beautiful. She loved old pictures of our relatives and was very interested in their history.

She loved boiled shrimp. In fact, she could eat just as much or more than anyone I have ever met.

She loved music. She loved to dance and sing and act goofy. If she ever got “tickled”……not physically tickled…… but if she got to laughing about something she thought was really, really funny…..she could not stop laughing. So much so that it would make anyone else laugh with her…. until everyone was laughing to tears…..you know that goofy kind of “laughing till it hurt” kind of laughing.

She loved animals. Especially ones that were sort of the “strays” or the “mutts” if you will…..she had a way with them that was really special. I would just be so amazed to watch her. She could take a stray little kitten, one that didn’t want anything to do with any human…….and in about 10-15 minutes….it seemed as if she had somehow trained it to love her. Once she kept petting this stray kitten and she would say “I got to teach you about human love”….She would pet it and say that over and over and over….. Mary was special, in a way that just can’t be put into words.

She loved her family and friends more than anything in the world. She just really wanted all of us to be ok, to be happy and to know that she loved us unconditionally………no matter what.

Pallbearers will be Joey Woolsey, Guy Mack Cook, Daniel Wiley, Dale Wiley, Mark Hollis and Paul Wiley.
