Mary “Corene” Cravens, age 82, of Columbia Tennessee, went home to be with her precious Lord and Savior on Sept. 16, 2018 at Maury Regional Hospital with her loving Family by her side. Corene faithfully served the Lord, her Church, Loyal Chapel FWB, and her Family. She always had a bright smile and a spirit filled happy heart to everyone she met and while working at several different locations, she befriended all her Co-workers and anyone she came in contact with. Corene truly loved her husband of 50+ years, Roden, and totally attended and took great care of him the last 2 years of his life after a tragic accident left him Quadriplegic.
Corene was born in Overton County Tennessee to the late Thomas and Mae Bilbrey. She is survived by her Daughter Helen (Gary) Huntzinger of Spring Hill, TN., her Son Jerry (Robyn) Cravens of Rockvale, TN., GrandChildren Barry (Cynthia) Huntzinger of Columbia, TN., Ryan (Debbie) Huntzinger of Columbia, TN., Joshua (Samantha) Cravens of Christiana, TN., and Victoria (Chris) Alford of Antioch, TN.. She also leaves with love and sweet memories, several Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren, Brothers; James, Kenneth, and Ronald Bilbrey, and Sister Faye McCowan. She also cherished her Sister-in-laws, Brother-in-laws, Nieces, Nephews, as well as many other Family Members, Friends, and Church Family Members to numerous to list.
Corene was preceded in death by her beloved Husband Roden Cravens, Son-in-law Gary Huntzinger, Grandson Brandon Cravens, Parents Thomas and Mae (Beasley) Bilbrey, 4- Brothers; Willard, Clyde Lee, Billy Ray, and Billy Joe Bilbrey. 3- Sisters; Bonnie Bilbrey, Johnnie Hogue, and Bobbie West.
Funeral arrangements are: Visitation on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 4:00until 8:00pm and Thursday, September 20. 2018 from 12:00-2:00 pm with the service following at 2:00pm with the Rev Steve Swango Officiating at Williams Funeral Home, 2517 Trotwood Ave., Columbia, TN. 38401 with interment alongside her Husband at the Polk Memorial Gardens Cemetery also of Columbia, TN. Pallbearers will be Barry Huntzinger, Ryan Huntzinger, Joshua Cravens, Nathaniel Huntzinger, Christian Huntzinger, Hayden Cravens, Jeff Newsome, and Scott Phaneuf.
