Mary Clothell Williams Profile Photo Mrs. Mary Clothell Williams, 86, of Bremen, passed away on Monday December 12, 2022, at her residence.

Mrs. Williams became a member of Mt Hope Baptist Church September 19, 1968, where she was a faithful and active member who filled many positions over the years.  She loved her church and those who worshipped with her over the years.

Clo dearly loved her family who knew her best as granny.  Along with her husband, known as Papa G, they loved their grandchildren of all generations.  Granny spent many days with her great grandchildren, giving them their very own adventure filled days wrapped in love as their parents were away.

Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her husband Marion Leon ”Little John” Williams; father William Azer Buzbee; mother Etta Lay Buzbee; sisters Ervil Shephard, Mavis Barton, Bessie Buzbee, Mickey Turner, Betty Jean Lockhart, and Kathleen Martin; brothers Orlin Buzbee and JV “Buddy” Buzbee; son-in-law Joey Graves; grandson Seth Busby; and great-great granddaughter Joey Ann Henderson.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter Debra Graves; son Tim Busby; sister-in-law Imogene Buzbee; grandchildren Shannon White and husband Jason, Gabe Busby and wife Laura, Leah Seawright and husband Mark Herndon, and Kaci Williams and husband Brett; and special friend Frankie Williams; 11 Great-grandchildren and 10 Great-great grandchildren.

Pall Bearers will be Bo Langford, Gabe Busby, Brett Williams, Noah Henderson, Brodi Williams, and Zeke White.

Honorary Pall Bearer will be Jason White.

Services: Visitation will be held Thursday December 15, 2022 at 12:00 PM in the Freeman-Hood Chapel, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM.  Burial will be at Rice’s Chapel Cemetery.  Patrick Watson, Noah Henderson, and Chris Rollo will officiate.
