Mary Catherine Holland, age 72, passed away peacefully at home on July 25, 2024. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Douglas Cemetery.
Mary is survived by her daughters Angela (Brandon) Douglas, April (Jason) Pilkington, and Amy (Scotty) Holland; her grandchildren Dillon Douglas, Katelyn Douglas, Faith Cassels, Haley Pilkington, Connor Pilkington, Chloe Pilkington, and Casey Maddox; and her great-grandchildren Thomas Douglas, Gracelynn Bankston, and Noah Bankston. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Craig Holland.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dorsey Holland, her parents Jessie James and Victoria Longshore Edins, her brothers James Edins and Ray Edins, and her sister Lois May.
A member of Sand Mountain Cowboy Church, Mary loved flowers, quilting, and knitting but mostly cherished her family and her dog, Trixie.
