A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mary Boyce Jackson, 89, will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Corinth. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the service time. Interment will follow the service at Henry Cemetery. Mrs. Jackson passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Stoneridge of Farmington. She was born on January 29, 1934 in Marvell, AR to the late Boyce Fisackerly and Mary Ellen Manning Fisackerly. The family relocated to Pascagoula, MS, and she graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1952. In 1957, she met and married the love of her life. After several moves and the addition of four children, the family settled in Corinth in 1978. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Corinth and served as hostess of the Community Greeting Service for over 30 years. On behalf of local businesses and churches, she enjoyed welcoming thousands of newcomers over the years to the Corinth area. She was a homemaker and a member of the local Homemakers Club and Music Club. She loved cooking, sewing, traveling, singing in the church choir and spending time with her friends and family. Mary Boyce is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Gene Jackson; her sons, Kevin Jackson (Tina), Mark Jackson (Cathie) and Shawn Jackson (Mandy); her daughter, Erin McLemore (Andrew); twelve grandchildren, Ricky Tillman (Kelly), Jenee Cash (Matt), Jeremy Jackson (Kaylin), Keyley Jackson, Daniel Jackson (Kristen), David Jackson (Brooke), Olivia Gaudet (Nate), Ben Jackson, Jackson McLemore (Anna Brown), Grant McLemore, Davis McLemore and Jonathan McLemore; four great grandchildren, Bennett Jackson, Emmy Jackson, Ava Gaudet and Nora Gaudet; her sister, Dianne Kusmanoff (Tony); several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clifton Fisackerly. Pallbearers will be Ricky Tillman, Jeremy Jackson, Daniel Jackson, David Jackson, Ben Jackson and Jackson McLemore. Bro. Nathan VanHorn will officiate the service with Bro. Dennis Smith delivering the eulogy. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Mary Boyce Jackson.
