Mary Blagburn Reynolds, 83, passed away Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017. She was born March 20, 1934.
A celebration of life service will be Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Josh Boyd officiating. Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Reynolds was the first female police officer in Decatur, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Ruby Blagburn; sister, Pat Evans; and a grandson, Raul de Quesada.
Survivors include her children, Charles Long, Rebecca de Quesada, and Joe Long; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sisters, Linda Reeves, Sandra Andrews, and Audrey Clark; and one brother, Steve Blagburn.
Grandson’s will serve as pallbearers.
