Mary Annette Phillips was born in Columbus, MS on Sept. 21, 1936. She resided in Sumiton, AL, where she passed peacefully at home on April 19, 23.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She was a member of Dilworth Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband Geoffrey Phillips; children, Mike Petrie and Deb Christiansen; grandson, Brad Petrie and siblings, Theron, Perry and Becky.
She is survived by her daughter, Lauri Dill and fiance’ Steven Earnest; grandchildren, Page Delong, Amber Williamson and Cody Dill and wife Tabitha; none great grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, Marty, Jackie, Terry, Betty, Evelyn, Peggy and James; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday April 26, 23 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Nelson Kimberly will officiate. Burial will follow in Wells Celestial Gardens in Sumiton. Visitation is Wednesday from 1-2 pm.
