  Mary Anne Brown Hanley, age 74, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 in Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Brownsville Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Hayes and her grandson, Kyle Vernon officiating. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Brownsville Funeral Home. Anne was born on March 1, 1947 in Toone, TN to Johnnie and Mary Brown. She worked as a Lab Technician at Jackson-Madison General Hospital. She loved her God and the personal relationship she shared with him. She enjoyed fishing, cooking as well as going out to eat. She found lots of joy and love in spending time with her family, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Anne is survived by her son, Norman Vernon, four daughters, Charlene McFarland, Paula Lara, Sandra Staggs, Teresa Hayes all of Brownsville, TN; two brothers, Larry Brown of Memphis, TN, Tony Martin of Batesville, MS; three sisters, Judy Bryant of Oak Grove, KY, Carolyn Price of Bolivar, TN, Peggy Hill of Bolivar, TN and her special friend, James Charlton. She leaves a legacy of love for her 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hanley, her parents, Johnnie Brown and Mary Shinault Garrett; one brother, Wayne Brown and her oldest grandson, Jeremy McFarland. Pallbearers for the service are Jonathan Lara, Korey Vernon, Major Lovelace, Arturo Rojas, Ray Forsythe, Peyton Vales and Hunter Vernon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kirkland Cancer Center, 720 Forest Ave., Jackson, TN 38301. All arrangements and services are under the direction of Lea and Simmons Funeral Group-Brownsville Chapel.
