Mrs. Mary Annabelle Luna, age 90, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mrs. Luna was born on May 29, 1931 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Thomas and Pearl Pocus. She will be forever remembered by her sons, Norman Luna (Dot), Glen Luna (Anna); daughters, Rhonda Greer, Phyllis Robertson (Donny); sister, Clara Knight (Richard); brother, James Pocus (Jane); grandchildren, Kimberly Townsend (Denny), Angela Greer, Eric Robertson (April), Christopher Luna (Kelly), Ryan Robertson (Amanda), Andrea Gregory; 16 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Luna is preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard Luna; son, Robert Stanley Luna; grandson, Duane Greer; son-in-law, Doug Greer; sisters, Betty Bouck, Louise Wood & Carol Vitale; brothers, Bud Pocus, Joe Pocus.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday – June 24, 2021 at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Bobby Greer, officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday beginning at 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow funeral service immediately at the Arab Memorial Cemetery.
