Mary Ann Woody, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 in Lexington. She was born August 11, 1929 in Henderson County to the late Ernest and Lucille Laster Rhodes. She was a member of Scotts Hill Methodist Church and a beautician in Scotts Hill for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Charles “Doc” Woody on June 10th of this year. They were married for over 70 years and always together.
Survivors include her two sisters, Peggy Coates of Parsons and Kay Rickman of Scotts Hill and her brother, Charles Rhodes of Jackson.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, August 6, 2022 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Scotts Hill Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday 1-8 PM and on Saturday 11 AM – 1 PM.
