Funeral service for Mary Ann Malone, age 85, of Decatur, will be held Friday, December 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00AM to 10:50 AM prior to the service. Burial will be held at 2:30 at Allsboro Presbyterian Cemetery in Cherokee, Alabama.
She was born January 6, 1938 to Robert Holt and Ethel Spain Holt in Tennessee. She passed way December 19, 2023 at Huntsville Hospital.
She was a member of Decatur Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading and her stamp collection.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother and sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bobby Malone; her children, Sam Malone, Robert Malone (Frescia), and Stephanie Malone; grandchildren, Preston Malone, Ethan Malone, Bella Malone; brother, Robert Holt, and sister Ruby Nell Anderson.
Pallbearers will be Preston, Ethan, Robert, Scott, Graeme, and Luther.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to Decatur Public Library.
