Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Ann Ingram, age 92 of Delta, will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Rev. Glen Ward offciating. The burial will be private, held at the Clay County Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Ingram passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at the Clay County Hospital. She was born in Birmingham, moved to Lineville at the age of 6, and was a graduate of Lineville High School, class of 1950. Out of High School, she did secretarial work for several years before marrying her late husband, James Howard. They moved around during his military stint, and eventually settled in Lineville. She worked for Higgins Slacks for several years in Quality Assurance and the Human Resources Department. She also worked as a supervisor and editor for the Higgins Slacks newsletter. Mrs. Ingram enjoyed sewing and canning in her early years, doing crossword puzzles, watching Turner Classic Movies and the News in her later years. Mrs. Ingram was described as soft spoken and kind, a devoted wife and Christian, and an outstanding grandmother.

Mrs. Ingram is survived by her daughter, Jill Ingram Rush of Lineville; two sons: Jon K. Ingram and Joe W. Ingram, both of Delta; seven grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Oscar Ketcham Jr. (Helen) of Eudora, KS, plus other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles Oscar Ketcham Sr. and Mary Annis Hudson Ketcham; her husband, James Howard Ingram; and one brother, Dr. Paul Ketcham.
