Mary Ann Clemons Duffey Mary Ann Clemons Duffey, age 82, went home to be with our Lord, on Saturday, April 1, 2023, due to complications from pneumonia.

Mary loved her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She would do whatever she could for any of them. Even when dementia took away her ability to function, at the things she wanted to do, she never ceased to offer her assistance to help or to give advice.

Mary is survived by her children: Theresa Anderson, Becky Thomas (Jackie), Danny Duffey (Lucy), Greg Duffey (Barbara). Her nine grandkids: Tiffanie Parsons (Chris), Julia Campbell (Jack), Mat Thomas (Ashley),Sam Thomas, Steven Hopkins (Anna), James Duffey (Amy), Bobby Thomas (Brandy), Justin Goodrich (Courtney), Morgan Morris (Jacob). Twenty-one great grandkids. Three brothers: Eugene Clemons (Alberta), Bill Clemons (Toni), and Paul Clemons, along with a host of nieces and nephews that she loved.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, James (Jim) Duffey; daughter, Jo Goodrich; Parents: Felix and Melvin Clemons; sisters: Shirley Sue Clemons, Betty Reavis, Martha Mires, Sally Johnson, and Sara Jenkins; brothers: Roy Clemons, Buck Clemons, James H. “Buddy” Clemons, and David Clemons.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. A graveside service, with family, will be held at a later date.

Mary’s family would like to thank the 5th floor doctors, nurses and staff of Huntsville  Hospital, and to Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family Center, for their dedication, kindness and love they showed to our mom and our family.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to Huntsville

Hospital Hospice Family Center, 10000 Serenity Lane, Huntsville, AL, in honor of our mom.
