Mary Ann Brown Lynn One of Columbia Central High School’s most beloved educators, Mary Ann Brown Lynn, passed peacefully Sunday, July 10, 2022 at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care. During her 30 plus year career with the Maury County School System, she endeared herself to thousands of students as one who took their personal needs to her heart and endeavored to see each accomplish their highest potential. Known for her vivacious spirit, keen sense of humor, love for people, God’s nature, antiques, eye for design and fashion, Mary Ann was a vital part of the essence of Maury County, its history and its people. As a native of the Culleoka Community, she valued her roots and loved her memories of growing up on her family farm, play with her cousins and being a “tomboy”.

After retiring from education in 2006, she became affiliated with Crye-Leike Realtors and was a partner with Connie Quillen. Her greatest joy was her 6 year old granddaughter, Georgia Pearl, her family and her cherished friends.
