Mary “Alice” Kelley age 91 of Athens, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Kelley was born April 18, 1924 in Limestone County, AL to Authur Blankenship and Annie Ball Blankenship.
Services will be Wednesday, May 20, 2015 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Joe Curtis officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Houston Lee Kelley.
Survived by one daughter, Carolyn Griffin and husband, Allen; one grand-daughter, Amanda Carlile and husband, Eric; four great-grandchildren, Deliah Pruitt, Lydia Carlile, Claudia Carlile and Sophia Zampella; special friend, J.C. Cantrell.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Freeman, Dennis Freeman, Eric Carlile, Randell Tyler, Bonnie Brooks and Ronald White.
