Mary Alice married Eddy Joe Brackin in 1966. The two adopted their only son, Greg, in 1977. Mary Alice was the office manager at Montreat Apartments for 25 years before retiring. She cared deeply for her family and friends, making sure they had a hot meal during times of need, handwriting cards of all kinds, and helping wherever needed. She was always smiling, celebrating even the most overlooked holidays, such as National Banana Bread Day. Her compassionate spirit and heart for service will truly be missed.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Austin, Oscar Beck, Jackie Brackin, Ethan Kitchens, Chad Kitchens, and Robin Wear.
Special thanks to all her friends who visited with her day after day.
