Mary Agnes Pendergrass, age 79, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Friday, March 24th, 2023, at Williamson Medical Center.
She was a native of Perry County, the daughter of the late Ben and Opal Grinder Garner. She was a retired office manager of the Marshall County Health Department, being employed there from 1990 until retirement in 2006. She studied at Freed Hardeman University, where she met her husband and became his help-meet while he ministered. She was a member of Westvue Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Pendergrass in 2015.
She is survived by two daughters, Gale (Gary) Francis of Thompson Station, and Angela Pendergrass of Lewisburg, two sons, Phillip Pendergrass of Wyoming, and Henry (Karen) Pendergrass of Spring Hill, two sisters, Helen Brewer and Connie Love, five brothers, Jimmy Garner, Joe Garner, Jerry Garner, Roy Garner, and Philip Garner, six grandchildren, Clay (Carter) Stokes, Zach (Brittany) Stokes, Autumn Pendergrass, Chase (Danielle) Pendergrass, Ally Pendergrass, Katy Pendergrass, three great grandchildren, Laney Stokes, Nolen Stokes, and Juniper Pendergrass.
Memorial services will be conducted on Monday, March 27th, 2023, at 1:00 pm from the Westvue Church of Christ 1710 West Commerce St. Lewisburg, TN 37091.
Visitation with the family will begin on Monday, March 27th, 2023 at 11:00 am and will continue until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Roundup Church of Christ (Roundup, Montana).
