Mary Agnes Norris Hallums, age 94, of the Martins Chapel Community, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Hallums wishes were to be cremated, and there are no services scheduled at this time.
Mrs. Hallums was born September 13, 1929 in Robertson County, to the late Fred and Earline Summers Norris. She worked as a Seamstress in the upholstery business most of her life.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hallums was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Hugh F. Hallums Sr.; sisters, Naomi and Eddie Neal; and brothers, Harold Norris, Charles Norris and John Norris.
She is survived by her sons, Hugh (Jayne) Hallums, and John Hallums; daughters, Patricia Hallums, and Jeannie (Rodger) Elliott; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; and a sister, Marjorie Norris.
Memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Hallums may be made to the charity of your choice.
