Marvolene Steelman age 83 of Athens, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Steelman was born January 26, 1932 in Limestone County, AL to Elmer Putman and Inez Furline Putman,
Services will be Friday, July 25, 2015 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Inez Putman; husband, George W. Steelman; son, Gary Steelman; daughter, Pamela Pedersen.
Survived by three daughters, Shelia Ross, Julie Ray and husband, Haskell and Rebecca Chanin; one son, Tony Steelman; 9 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
