Marvin Neal Shults Jr., 58, resident of Benton County passed away August 16, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, which was the same date his idol, Elvis Presley departed this life.
Memorial Service honoring Marvin’s life will be at 12 Noon Tuesday August 20, 2024, in the Heritage Chapel of the Ripley Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11 AM until time of service.
Born January 1, 1966, in Jackson Tennessee, Marvin was the son of the late Marvin Franklin Shults and Linda Kathryn Hodgin Bryan. He received his education from Raleigh Egypt High School. Although he was never able to work, Marvin was willing to help anyone he could and together, he and his mother always took care of one another.
A Christan and avid Elvis fan, Marvin loved the king of rock and roll and enjoyed listening to all styles of his music. He had an outgoing personality and was constantly on the go. Marvin’s smile will always be etched in our hearts, his laughter will echo in our mind, and his never-ending fight for life is a reminder to us all—never give up. Today we find comfort knowing he is at peace and can’t help but wonder what kind of celebration it must have been when Elvis met his biggest fan and Mrs. Linda got to hug and see her only son once again.
Those left to cherish his memories include one daughter, Jessica Interiano (Jorge), one sister, Shelia Hall (Tim), two half-sisters, Keesha and Krystal Shults, and two grandchildren, Christopher and Natalie Interiano.
Ripley Funeral Home invites you to share memories with Marvin’s family.
