Mr. Marvin Lee Lands, age 73, of Hayden, AL., passed away on Monday,
January 8, 2024 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham, AL. He worked many years in construction before owning Birmingham Wilbert from 1989-2023.
He is survived by his wife Carole; his children; son, Anthony Lee Lands (Angie) and their children, Austin, Zachary, Sophia and Scarlett; son, Marvin Eric Lands and son Randall; son, Christopher Shawn Lands (Brandy) and children, Madison and Kamree; Step children, Steven Dixon (Gwendolyn) and children, Skyla and Kira; Ashley Shook (Hayden) and children, Genevieve and Annabelle; great grandkids, Lily and Covaleigh; brother, Samuel Lands; sisters, Mary Cornelison and Faye Lynn Blizzard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Erskine and Ruby Grace Lands; brother, Thomas Erskine Lands.
Funeral services will be held at Scottsboro Funeral Home on Thursday,
January 11, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Samuel Lands and Rev. Bill Crawford officiating. The visitation will be from 12:00pm until 2:00pm Thursday at the Funeral Home. The burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
