Marvin Edward Davis age 81 of Athens, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Davis was born February 3, 1935 in Limestone County, AL to John Henry Davis, Jr. and Mary Bertha McCormack Davis.
Services will be Saturday, April 9, 2016 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Reunion Cemetery.
Mr. Davis was a member of Jennings Chapel Church of Christ.
Survived by one son, Stuart Davis and wife, Kendra of Athens; one daughter, Myra Davis of Athens; three grandchildren, Cody Davis and wife, Erica of Priceville, AL, Leah Justice and Aubry Davis both of Athens; one great-grandchild, Jericho Davis of Priceville, AL; one brother, Robert Morris Davis and wife Dianne of Athens.
