MarvMarv “Redcat” Lewis, 83, died Sunday, February 02, 2014 at Sanctuary Hospice House. He was born August 11, 1930 in Red Water, Texas to Elmer and Donie Lewis. He was a machinist at Rockwell/Delta for 18 years. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Center Star United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, camping and watching football. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his wife and visits from his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 PM Wednesday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Buddy Rushing officiating. Burial will be in Center Star Cemetery. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Lewis of Tupelo; one daughter, Dora Lynn Johnson of Tupelo; two sons, Greg Lewis (Lisa) and Scott Lewis all of Tupelo; four grandchildren, Brandon Johnson, Chris Lewis, Megan Lewis and Lindsey Lewis; four great-grandchildren, Kylee Lewis, Isabel Lewis, Jennifer Humphrey and Bryson Lewis; a special friend, Betty Sheffield of Tupelo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Johnson; two brothers, Basil Lewis and Calvin Lewis; one sister, Marie Ewing.

Pallbearers will be his nephews and friends.
