Funeral service for Martha Williams Thomas, 90, will be Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Bethlehem West Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Wheeler officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 28, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Thomas died on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Brookwood Medical Center. She was born May 23, 1926, in Morgan County to William Oscar Hill and Honor Ellen Hooper Hill. She was a member of Bethlehem West Baptist Church. Mrs. Thomas worked for 27 years in the Morgan County Courthouse as a Deputy License Commissioner prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by two husbands: Guy Kay Williams and Vernon K Thomas, four sisters: Eva Hogan, Louise Kelley, Helen Hogan and Wilma Austin and two brothers: Leon Hill and Albert Hill.
