Martha Williams, aged 72, of Guntersville, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2023, at Shepherds Cove Hospice. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Witt, her son, Jason Witt, and her cherished grandchildren, Joshia, Kobee, Koda, and Felicity Witt. Martha is also survived by her sister, Mattie (David) Hand, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Martha was preceded in death by her daughter, Michael Ann Smith, and her brother, John Albert “Bud” Smith, as well as her parents, Arnie and Ozellar Smith.
Martha’s life was defined by her boundless love for her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She took immense pride and joy in watching them play sports and attending their ballgames, where she was often seen cheering them on with unwavering enthusiasm.
In addition to her love for family, Martha enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She cherished the meals shared with her classmates from the Marshall County High School class of 1971, relishing the opportunity to catch up and reminisce over shared memories.
The family will announce memorial service details at a later date. Martha will be remembered for her love, her unwavering support for her family, and her ability to find joy in life’s simplest moments. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
