Martha Scott Wiser Tallent of Pulaski passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 19th at NHC Healthcare Pulaski. She was born in Giles County on December 16th, 1930 and was 94 years old.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She never met a stranger and cherished her friends and was loved in return by so many dear friends.
She was a long-time member of 2nd Street Church of Christ in Pulaski. She worked in retail at Reeves Drug Store and Porter Pharmacy for over 50 years where serving her customers and friends was her true calling. She was active in Pulaski BPW, Ladies Auxillary of VFW, and VFW of Pulaski with her husband for many years.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The burial will take place at Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski, TN.

Martha was preceded in death by, her husband of 27 years Bill Wiser, and her husband of 30 years Bill Tallent. Her parents, David Nathaniel and Allie Mae Scott. Her sister, Louise Goats and brother, Robert Earl Scott.
She is survived by,
Daughter, Pam (Ralph) Souders of Pulaski, TN
Granddaughter, Rachel (Keith) Wesseling and great granddaughter, Abigail Ruth Wesseling of Schaumburg, Illinois.
Her niece, Linda (Edgar) Sumners and nephew, Larry Bailey of Pulaski, TN
Step-daughter, Theresa McGill and step grandchildren, Alex McGill, Andy McGill, Mickey Tallent, and Chase Tallent. Several step great grandchildren and great nieces and nephews also survive.
