Funeral service for Martha S. “Sue” Duncan, age 82, of Courtland, will be 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Courtland Baptist Church with Rev. Scotty Letson officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will be in Courtland City Cemetery.
Mrs. Duncan, who died Monday, March 27, 2023, was born July 19, 1940, to Goodwin and Gladys Dyar. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husbands-Thomas Letson and Joe Duncan. Sue was a member of Courtland Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Scotty Letson (Dianne) and Mark Letson (Teresa); one daughter, Leeanne Crisler; one brother, Roger Dyar (Carol); six grandchildren, Rachel Wendling (George), Rebekah Brewer (Adam), Cole Crisler (Rebecca), Carson Crisler, Thomas Letson, and Jessica Letson; and five great-grandchildren, Abby Brewer, Allie Brewer, Caleb Wendling, Joshua Wendling and James Hazle.
Pallbearers will be Cole Crisler, Carson Crisler, Caleb Wendling, Thomas Letson, Joshua Wendling, George Wendling, and Adam Brewer.
