Martha Rousseau McKee parted from this life on January 2, 2025.
She was born in Paint Rock, Alabama, on November 11, 1928, to Calvin and Ophy Rousseau. At a young age, she moved to Albertville, where she graduated from high school and later married John McKee. They were married for 68 years.
Martha helped manage their small business for almost 50 years. Upon retirement, she and John moved to Birmingham, where they enjoyed a busy social life that included ballroom dancing, game nights with friends, and family time with their daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Martha is survived by her daughter, Margaret McKee Morrow (Pat); her son, John Ivan McKee (Peggi); her grandchildren, Chris Morrow (Kelly), Nick Morrow, and Sallie McKee Woodard (Weston); and her great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Johnathon, Avery, Calvin, and Elaine Morrow.
There will be a private graveside service for immediate family. Adams Brown Service Funeral Home assisted the family.
