Martha Rebekah Nix, age 80, of Hamilton, AL passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Hamilton, AL on Wednesday, September 13, 1939 to Leroy Pate and Lillie Mae Holley Pate.
The service will Sunday, 2:00 p.m. September 22, 2019 at Hamilton First Baptist Church with Bro. Jeremy Sorrells officiating and burial at Bethlehem Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy & Lillie Pate; siblings, Elizabeth Lee, William (Bill) Pate.
She leaves to cherish her memories, children, Karen Harris (husband, Mike), Katherine Dyer (husband, Marty), David Wayne Nix; brothers, Holley Pate, Oscar Pate; sister, Pat Chambers; grandchildren, Amy Dillard, Rhea Brinkley, Thomas Rea, Bobby Rea, Joshua Dyer, Lee Dyer, Jason Dyer; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews and friend.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
