Funeral Services for Mrs. Martha Rebecca “Becky” Watts, age 78 of Ashland, will be on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Campbell Springs Church of Christ with Steve Powell and Roy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery in Munford.

Mrs. Watts passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at her home. Born in Talladega, She moved to Clay County in 1965 and worked at the Spring Valley Chicken plant, and at Wellborn Cabinets, but she was most known for being the biscuit maker at the Ashland Hardee’s for nearly 15 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, singing, and she loved Clay Central and Alabama football. Mrs. Watts loved taking her great-granddaughter, Ayla Grace to her Karate classes each week, and enjoyed putting together Christmas Candy Stockings, Easter Baskets, and Halloween Candy bags for her children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Watts was a member of Campbell Springs Church of Christ.

Mrs. Watts is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bobby H. Watts of Ashland; two daughters: Rebecca Ann Pearson (Chris) of Jacksonville and Christy Mae McKinney (Leo) of Auburn, GA; one son, Bobby E. Watts Jr of Munford; 6 grandchildren: Daniel Watts, Alisha Mowrey Smith (Austin), Aaron P. Stephens, Elizabeth Pearson, Caroline Pearson, and Katie Wilson; two great-grandchildren: Ayla Gilly and Aiden Casey and two on the way; two sisters: Elaine Dean (Ronnie) and Robin Irvin, both of Talladega, plus several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Ervin A. and Catherine Davis Hyatt, and one brother, Clarence Davis.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
