Martha Raye Vaughan, 84, passed away on October 21, 2023 at Starkville Manor Nursing Home in Starkville, MS. She was a retired clerk with Wiers Drugstore member of Calvary Baptist Church in Starkville, and member of the Pilot Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James R. Vaughan, Sr.; brother, James R. Vaughan, Jr.; and sister, Ruth E. Vaughan.
She is survived by two nephews, Dr. James R. Vaughan Stefurak and Edward Lyle Vaughan Stefurak; and one great nephew and one great niece.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Brother Dickey Bryan will conduct the service. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Starkville.
