Martha Parr Littleton, 88, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday. Mrs. Littleton was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Sharp Littleton. She was past president of the African Violet Society and founding member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she was very active in many groups. An avid gardener, she was a member of the Botanical Gardens. Her passion was genealogy, constantly caring for others and always volunteering for Meals on Wheels and an active member of the Hillside Garden Club.
Survivors include children, Dennis Franklin Littleton (Martha), Diane Reeves Gold, Deborah Parr Lee (Stan) and David Lee Littleton (Giannina Brown), all of Huntsville; grandchildren, Chris Reeves (Kelly) of Huntsville, Nicholas Gold (Luke Thomas) of Nashville, and Jonathon Littleton of Huntsville; four great-grandchildren; and special cousin, Barnard Eugene Wooley of Dyer, TN.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with Dr. Rick Owen officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clearview Cancer Institute.
