Martha Mayhall Chesnutt, 68, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at her home place surrounded by her family. She was born May 10, 1955 to the late William Ray Mayhall and the late Murley Hammock Mayhall. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and caregiver for most of her life. She helped begin the E.M.R. services and fire department for Northeast Itawamba Fire Department. She loved spending time with her grandchild.
Services will be 1:00 pm on Friday July 28, 2023, at Senter Funeral Directors with Bro. Robert Wood officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 Friday all at Senter Funeral Directors chapel. Burial will be at Butler Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include her son, Sherman (Miranda) Chesnutt; granddaughter, Emma Anne Chesnutt; sister, Linda Ewing of Fulton; brother-in-law, Kelly Chesnutt; host of nieces and nephews; special friends: Sheila Pettigo, Dorothy Orrick.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Danny Chesnutt; brother, Elvie Mayhall; brother-in-law, Stevie Chesnutt.
Pallbearers are Phillip Chesnutt, Eric Chesnutt, Zack Johnson, Steve Hood, John “Bubba” Robbins, Casey Moore, Cody Crane.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Brad Miller, Will Ashley, Joseph Johnson.
