Martha M. Robinson, of Cherokee, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2013. Her funeral will be held on March 14, 2013 at Morrison Funeral Home in Cherokee, Alabama. The service will start at 10:00 a.m. and the burial will follow at Harris Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Rickey E. Collum will officiate. Martha was a native of Sheffield, Alabama. She enjoyed her work as a beautician early in life. She was a member of Cherokee Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mable and Richard Jones; husband, William G. Robinson Jr., and sister, Elizabeth Lansdell.
She is survived by her son, William Keith Robinson, and wife Angela DeVaney and children, Jacob and Nicole; her daughter, Tina Ann McWilliams, and husband Jeff Bryant. She is also survived by her devoted and loving sister, Shirley Rich and husband Jimmy; and her brother, Kenneth Jones. Martha had three grandchildren: Drew and wife Emily, Katie and Blake McWilliams; and three great grandchildren: Daegan and Dena McWilliams and Nate Terwilliger.
Pallbearers will be Drew McWilliams, Blake McWilliams, Ricky Rich, Jacob DeVaney, Howard Lee Mitchell, Roy McDougal, Kenny Jones, and John Schlosser.
The family would also like to thank Hospice of North Alabama, Dr. Darin Bowling, and caregivers Grace Haley, Barbara Thompson, Pat Carter and Tracy Wix at People’s Drugs.
