Martha Lucille Ford, age 99 of Florence, died Friday August 19, 2016. Visitation will be Sunday 1-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Brian Giselback officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Mrs. Ford was a native of Colbert County and a member of Wood Avenue Church of Christ. She has been a resident of Mitchell Hollingsworth since 2006 and was crowned Nursing Home Queen in 2011.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Her family express special thanks to Amedysis Hospice, especially Jesse Thompson and to the staff of Mitchell Hollingsworth Care and Rehab.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
