Martha Louise Moore Bean was born to the late Eddie Norris and Caroline Moore on Aug. 10, 1949, in Starkville, Mississippi.
She accepted Christ at a very early age at Sand Creek Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
She began school at Alexander Learning Center in Starkville, Mississippi. During high school she moved to Russellville, Alabama. She was one of the last graduates of Reed Town High School of Russellville, Alabama in 1968 prior to integration at Russellville High School.
On June 16, 1972, she was united in holy matrimony to Thomas H. Bean. To this union boy and girl twins, Corey and Tori, were born. She was a member of Saint Paul CME Church. She loved and enjoyed life to the fullest. She worked at H.D. Lee and VF Corporation of Russellville, Alabama until her retirement in 2002. On March 31, 2016, she went home to be with the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Norris; mother, Caroline Moore; sisters, Edna M. Harris and Josephine Pittman; brother, Frederic Otto Moore; son, Bernard Bean; and best friend, Linda Faye Simpson. She leaves to cherish her memory husband, Thomas H. Bean; son, Corey (Sonya) Tanner, Alabama; daughter, Tori (Cecil) Rudolph; siblings, Flora (Bennie) Jackson, San Pedro, California, Annie B. Jackson, Long Beach, California, Thelma Jones, Murrieta, California, Melvin (Howard) Magee, San Pedro, California, Ruby (Breona) Lindsey, San Pedro, California, Willie George (Barbara) Moore, Compton, California, and Curtis (Lorraine) Moore, Starkville, Mississippi; grandchildren, Rachel Burgess and Brandon Hampton; goddaughter, Brandi Simpson; stepchildren, Thomas Young (Pat), Russellville, Alabama, Jerry Wayne Young (Pat), Canton, Maryland, Rose Hamilton, Ypsilanti, Michigan, and Terry Young (Allison) Madison, Alabama; and
special sister-in-law/cousin, Cathryn Croom, Florence, Alabama.
