Martha Jo King Bramblett, 68, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022. A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date and she will be entered in Truslow Methodist Church Cemetery in Sarah, Mississippi.
Martha was a retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force for 23 years, serving in the Gulf War. She also retired from FedEx after 18 years of service. Martha was a member of First Assembly of God in Horn Lake, Mississippi and was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Ora Schoggen; former husbands, George Nelson, father of her daughter, Jessica, and Kenneth King; and her beloved dogs, Ol Bear and Lil Bear.
She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Bramblett; daughter, Jessica Nelson; 5 stepchildren; brother, Jim Schoggen of Gulf Shores; sister, Linda Jordan of Iuka, MS; granddaughter, Mackenzie; and beloved dog, Josie.
Memorials may be made to ASPCA or the Colbert County Animal Shelter.
